It seems like everywhere we turn these days people are talking about mindfulness. Educators, mental health therapists, and even doctors have talked about how a daily practice of mindfulness can make a tremendous difference in cognitive, emotional, and physical health. But what is it? And how can you go about incorporating mindfulness on a daily basis?
Participants will learn
Parent talks are a monthly free interactive lecture about a variety of topics related to parenting and educating children. If there is a question or a subject matter that you would like for us to discuss, send us a message!

- A working definition of what it means to be mindful.
- How mindfulness can be of positive benefit to your overall health and that of your family.
- How a practice of mindfulness can help your children learn more effectively.
- Some practical suggestions and activities to increase mindfulness both within yourself and with your children.
